Bible Study Job

Start your New Year out right and join us in our Study of the Book of Job. This work has been called one of the great literary masterpieces of all times. Paying close attention to its diverse literary nature, we are presently examining the Book’s treatment of the problem of suffering.

Under discussion now are it’s themes concerning serving God, suffering in the presence of God, and surrendering to God. We are doing this both in its setting in the Old Testament as well as it’s import in the Christian era.  So, join us if you feel so inclined!

Sessions are taking place now at these times and places:

Wednesday evenings at 7-8:30pm from Jan 11 through April 12
At Guardian Angels Church, Room 4

Thursday mornings at 9-10:30am from Jan 12 through April 13
In St. Joseph’s library
